If there is one thing that I have learned- is that there is always room for one more.

I am a professional person who has worked for over 20 years as an owner of a business, manager of someone else’s multi-million dollar business and as an employee of various types of large corporations.
In all my positions held, my primary responsibility was to interview and hire the company's employees.
All of my jobs have, thankfully, been extremely successful. Well, with the exception of the time I cursed out an abusive C.F.O.
Knowledgeable, yes. Perfect, no. Oh well,
Bygones.
My professional experience ranges from Human Resources manager (my current gig), Restaurant General Manager, Administrative Director and of course Executive Waiter of Tables (ah...the good ole days).
But nothing compares to my most beloved position of being a Mom!
I pay my mortgage and feed my family by working as a full time Human Resources manager.
I feed my creative nature by writing. I should be working on my vampire thriller manuscript right now (4 chapters so far) Hey, there is always room for one more right? I’m sure I’ll finish it eventually.
I write because it clears my head and makes room for all the other nonsense just hovering on deck to get in.
With my vast professional experience, I strongly feel that I have put together a well rounded viewpoint from all of the vital angles of the job seeking process (with much more still to come).
If any of my behind the desk experience and personal insight helps, then I will feel extra great about writing. If it puts you to sleep... well, consider it one less pill you have to take at night.
Although there are many different personalities within the workplace, the H.R person has to be a neutral party (even if her inner vampire writer screams to take sides and punch someone out).
H.R. can be boring.
Thankfully, being the author of Grandmasunderwear.com is not.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE SECRETS OF THE HR GIRL?
