Should I..Could I ask?
When the interviewer asks…
‘So do you have any questions for me?’
Don’t look at them with a silent, happy puppy face and shake your head no. A confident and assertive applicant always has something to ask (make something up if you have to).
*****Here is a great question that I think could really make an excellent impression on the interviewer:
Try Asking…’What do you think is the most important thing that I should know about this position?’
UmmMmmhumm…how about that? Nice huh?
Um, What not to ask:
What trains or busses stop near here?
Is there a Starbucks close by?
Can I take off a few days during hunting season?
How does the company feel about leaving early?
Does the insurance cover cosmetic surgery?
(Thankfully, this question was posed to me only once…something about removing a mole…)
HR GIRL TELLS ALL! ARE YOU READY?
